Being a Gracious Host and Guest + Thanksgiving Menu...

Hi lovelies! I hope you all had a great Monday and are looking forward to the rest of the week! Today, I am going to be sharing with you my set menu for this years feast & gather at our home and I am also going to be sharing proper etiquette for a host and guest! I hope you guys find this post helpful!

A gracious host:
1)  Properly Invite. When inviting your guest, be sure to be very clear and informative. Always provide them with necessary information such as the date, the time, the place, the occasion, the dress code, ect.

2) Plan well. When planning your event, it is very important to plan in advance. Get everything ready- do a deep clean, get your meal prepped, set the table, and restock your scents, toiletries, and refreshments. -When you do this, you're more relaxed on the big day.

3) Be welcoming and attentive. When guest arrive make sure they are greeted warmly, and make them feel welcomed throughout the event. Always cater to your guests, make sure they have plenty to eat and drink.

4) Be the leader. As a host, it is your job to run the show and let your guests know when it is time for dinner, dessert, present opening time, ect. Circulate among your guests, introduce newcomers and make everyone feel as if they know one another!

5) Be Appreciative.  Thank your gules tests for coming to your event as you walk them out the door and say your good-byes.

A gracious guest:

1) RSVP.  Be considerate and always let the host know if you're able to attend the event or not as soon as possible.

2) Arrive on time.  Typically, guests should arrive at or shortly after (fifteen minutes or less) the time stated on the invitation. Do not arrive any earlier, this may put stress on your host if they are doing last minute duties. If you're running late make sure you give the hosts a call and let them know your ETA.

3) Offer to lend a hand.  If your host is in the kitchen preparing the food, offer to help her/him. Even if your offered is refused, your gesture will be greatly appreciated. Also, at the end of the event, ALWAYS offer to help clean up.

4) Be easy going and participate. Listen to the host as they direct you. When he/she states that the dinner is ready, get up and head straight for the dinner table. Never make him/her tell you twice. Also, if you're asked to participate in a game for instance, accept graciously and enthusiastically. Always be apart of whatever is happening. No one likes a party-pooper! You're never too cool to have a little fun.

5) Thank your host.  Always thank your host when you say your good-byes. Let them know how appreciative you are and how beautiful everything turned out. You could also give them a second thank you the next day by a simple text or phone call!

Below are my recipe cards. I only uploaded the ones my viewers requested, if there's one you want that's not on here, let me know! I would be more than happy to share.
Happy Harvest!

Valentine's Day Tablescape + A Romantic Dinner For Two Menu ♥

Our Annual Dinner For Two Valentine's Day  Menu:

Hello sweet friends  & happy Monday! Another week is upon us, and it's going to be a great one, I already know it! Valentine's Day is just 2 days away. Can you believe it? Oh my goodness. I have always been one to love and celebrate this holiday of LOVE, but I started enjoying it even more when I met my sweet Brett.
This is going to be Brett and I's 3rd Valentine's Day celebration together. I started to spoil him from the very beginning of our relationship With a Valentine's Day Breakfast and a romantic Dinner for Two at home. Well, now dinner for 4 and we couldn't be happier with our kiddos by our sides! We are homebodies and always have been, even before the angels came along! All of our Valentine's dinner date nights were homemade by me, for him, at our home!
I didn't share what I make him for breakfast on the menu. Although, I will share it here.  I make him Red Velvet Heart Pancakes w/ a cream cheese mixture topped with pecans and maple syrup. It is one of his favorites, considering he loves Red Velvet + Cream Cheese. Plus, how could you not make heart shaped pancakes for your loved one on Valentine's Day?!
Of course, we have all of our Holiday meals in our dining room. Our tablescape changes as the seasons change. It is something that I am constantly updating.  This tablescape happens to be one of my favorites ( they are all to be honest!) I absolutely adore the color pink, and my fine American Beauty China is beyond perfect for this holiday. I cherish this china so much, my grandma (Nana Morris- my dad's mom) passed it down to me, and it stays displayed in our china cabinet year round. I will put it out on Valentine's Day and  sometimes Mother's Day! It is so gorgeous and I am so grateful that my family and I are able to enjoy it now.
What are your Valentine's Day plans? I would love to hear.

Halloween Fun With My Pumpkins...

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend filled with October fun. Today I am going to be sharing with you some FUN kid-friendly activities to do with your babies during this festive and spooky time! This is my favorite time of the year thanks to the seasonal pumpkin spice lattes, Disney halloween movies, and pumpkin patches! We love Halloween at the Robinson Residence.
I am a big holiday person and I have always been. The holidays are the happiest time of year, especially when you're a kid-they're magical. Although, when you have your own kids they're even 10x more magical. It is the best feeling ever to involve your kids in such a joyful and memory-filled time!
Since I have had Sophia Grace, I have always found cute little activities for her to be apart of. Now that I have Noah, I will do the same for him and pass on the tradition for years to come.Sophia Grace is almost 2 years old and is capable of more things, so I went to Hobby Lobby and bought some pumpkins, a witch hat, and paint-we sat out on the porch crafting it up! It was so much fun. She loved every second of it and painted her own very first pumpkin! Noah will get to join in on this the following season, which will be double the fun!
Baking is also something that we enjoy doing as a family. We baked some fun "Ooey Gooey Monster Eye Cookies" and "BOO Brownies".. these desserts are super easy to make plus they're just ADORABLE for the halloween season.
I love spending all of my time with my babies and making unforgettable memories. These are the memories I will cherish for a lifetime. Motherhood is truly the most beautiful thing!
