The Little Nell

    Hello sweet friends and Happy Tuesday! I hope you all have an amazing week. I have been getting back in the swings of things aka getting back to reality ever since our  relaxing weekend in Aspen, CO. My husband, children, and I had the opportunity to have a luxurious weekend getaway at The Little Nell, Aspen's only ski-in/ski-out, Five-Star, Five-Diamond hotel. It is stunning to say the least!
     The hotel has a lot to offer.  From the moment we arrived, I was impressed. We were greeted with huge smiles by the polite Valet & The Little Nell Team. Hospitality at its finest!
     We felt warmed and welcomed as soon as we arrived. We went up to our room, we were blown away! The room was so spacious, which was beyond perfect for the kiddos to run around and play. Below, I have attached a room tour video for you guys to see for yourselves!  The Little Nell recently just went through a renovation with Champalimaud Design of New York.      The Little Nell provided us all of our needs. Especially for our children, making it a very family oriented hotel as well as luxurious, which I love. They provided bath soap and animal bath mitts for Sophia Grace and Noah as well as a book and stuffed animal for each child! The kids had an automatic smile on their face and felt right at home.As a mother,  I could not ask for more.
     Can I admit to something? Hehe. Our hotel was so cozy that every single night we stayed in our hotel room and ordered room service from Element 47. You have all of the fine dining/lounging right in the hotel and that is so convenient! Element 47 was divine, which explains why it has received a Five-Star Restaurant Award since 2015, which happens to be the only one in Aspen. Now, I just have to brag about the room service. Seriously. it was phenomenal.  Have you ever gone to a hotel and when they bring room service to your room they whip out a table to sit down and eat on, as well? It's unlike any hotel I have ever been to. Which is exactly why we took advantage of being catered to for three nights straight. Can you blame us?!
     Element 47 not only offers just delicious lunch and dinner, but also offers a tasty breakfast! Our family enjoyed the buffet each morning and I am currently craving the Lemon Souffle Pancakes just thinking about that breakfast! The buffet's choices were endless with an omelet station, freshly baked muffin/croissant/bagel station, fruit & yogurt station, as well as a fresh juice and smoothie bar. YUM! They even have a kids' breakfast menu for children as well. Sophia Grace and Noah each got pancakes that were made into a bunny! They loved that.
     If you decide to venture out into the outdoors/town there's no need to stress how you're getting there! Why?! Because The Little Nell offers their guests to be take their Audi Q7 for a ride. Complimentary! How fabulous is that?! Pretty awesome if you ask me! They also have carseats on deck, which was just so perfect for our family! I actually own an Audi Q7 myself,so driving it around Aspen made me feel right at home!      Overall, The Little Nell was breathtaking to say the least and I am so grateful we were able to experience this prestigious hotel. It is very obvious as to why this hotel has received so many awards and accolades such as being named to Forbes Five-Star Award, AAA Five-Diamond Award, American Airlines' Platinum List, Travel + Leisure's World's Best Awards, Condé Nast's Readers' Choice Awards and many more.  We are looking forward to visiting The Little Nell again, soon. We couldn't have expected anything more or have been more pleased with this hotel and their professional team!

Beauty Bash With Stage

Hi, Ladies! Today, I am so excited to be doing a beauty post for you all. As seasons come and go, I stick to pretty much the same products, but sometimes I like to switch it up and try something new. Our skin changes through the season, and I am pretty particular on what type of foundation I use on my skin. I like full coverage although I don't care for a heavy weight formula. Can I have full coverage yet, feels like I have nothing on my face? Also, something that will last through out the day. The answer is yes.

    I have tried out Estée Lauder's Double Wear Stay in Place foundation and I must say, it is impressive. I love how lightweight it is when you have it on your face. It almost feels as if you're not wearing make up, although it does give you full coverage, yet it still looks natural.  It is WATERPROOF and super long wear.

    I have paired the foundation with Estée Lauder The Mattifier Shine Control Perfecting Primer & Finisher and I must say, I am really satisfied with the combination of the two. For me, a matte finish is best. This primer creates an amazing smooth and silky base for my make-up application. You can also use this to refreshen your make-up  through out the day. After all, it is a primer and finisher. Two in one!

My World, My Heart, My Soul

   The most important thing in the world is family.  Brett, Sophia Grace, and Noah are my everything, they are my entire world. My world revolves around them and there is nothing else that makes me as happy as they do. Today, I am talking about when I feel my strongest and best self, in partnership with Stage Stores. Stage is turning October into Pink October in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, and encouraging people to share their #ipinkican moments throughout the month to help them raise money for Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Loving and caring for my family is my purpose and that's simply when I feel my strongest.

    There's just something so special about taking care of your loved ones and allowing them to rely on you. Every single day, I start my day off by making my husband breakfast. Sending him off to work with a full stomach makes my heart happy. Sophia Grace and Noah receive a hot breakfast each and every morning, as well! I also will end our day with a home cooked meal for our family. Cooking is a big hobby of mine, I absolute love it. Knowing I provide my family with homecooked meals, makes me so happy and content.

    I spend each and every day with my two children, and that brings me so much joy. I am truly so blessed to have them.  I love teaching them new things day by day, watching them both grow, and just creating the sweetest memories that I will cherish for a lifetime.

As women, it is so important for us to do the things we love, and embrace it. Do what makes you happy and just be yourself! Live the life you want! How do you celebrate yourself?!

     As a mother, I want the absolute best for my children. Rather that being what I feed them on a day to day basis to what products I use on them. One thing is for sure: there must be that trust between the brand, retailer, and I. Each night we have bath time and get ready for bed. The Robinson Residence Turns One! | Blogiversary Celebration

Wow! It's been one year since I pushed "publish" and launched The Robinson Residence.  Today, I am celebrating one year of this adventure called blogging. When I first started, I had no idea this is where I would be within my 1st year of blogging. I am so proud of myself. I can say that, right? Seriously. Blogging has made me grow so much as a person. I've become more business savvy, which honestly prior to blogging I knew nothing about the business world much less creating my own brand. 

     I've learned to really work hard for what I want. Nothing comes easy and nothing comes over night. This I know. My goals are growing day by day. Each time I achieve a goal, I make a new one. Constant self growth, we can all improve, all the time. This is just the beginning for me and I can't wait to see where I will be in 5 years from now. I am going to take it day by day, and tackle each goal one by one.

     I couldn't have accomplished what I have this first year without all of you. All of the amazing supportive girlfriends I have made, and all of my followers/readers. You guys motivate me more than you know. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
