He is Risen! Easter is one of my favorite holidays. A holiday that is regarding Jesus Christ will forever be my favorite. So of course, we host and have all of our loved ones gather together to celebrate our king & our savior. I grew up in a household where we never left home for the holidays, and for me- that's what made our house a home. I will continue to carry that tradition with my babies in what's now our home. I love the feeling.
For this years tablescape, I decided to go with a soft blue and green pastel. You can't go wrong with pastels, especially for Easter/Spring time. I love this color combination- very clean, earthy, and gardenesque. Plus, it just sits so well with our grey walls and distressed oak/marble dining room furniture.
Jesus Christ, bunnies, and eggs. That's what comes into my mind when I think of Easter. So of course my table is going to consist of scattered eggs and a ton of cute, realistic, and brown baby bunnies!

When I spotted this jumpsuit at Club Monaco on the mannequin, I knew it was coming home with me! It is so simple, yet just enough to make a statement. This one piece is THE perfect outfit for date night, A GNO (styled by itself, no layering. Super Edgy + just enough sexy) and even work attire for a boss babe! Let's just say its very versatile.
It fits true to size, but keep in mind it's a very tailored fit. So, if you want it more loose, size up! I am wearing my true size in this picture because I like the glove-fit look in this particular item!

Can you guys believe it's already March 1st?! Spring is right around the corner & you bet I'm preparing like crazy in everyday possible! I've been shopping for spring outfits for months and I have had our Spring/ Easter home decor for about two weeks now... I am ready to say the least!
This adorable yellow ruffle poplin dress screams SPRING! I love the vibrant color and the ruffle details captured my eye in a heart beat. I had to have it. I paired this beauty with my Cult Gaia bag(size large), which by the way I am obsessed with and I have received so many compliments on. This bag is so unique and perfect for spring/ summer and can be dressed both up and down! I also threw on my favorite summer wedge by Marc Fisher which by the way, they go with every outfit; seriously. My favorite gold hoops at the moment that I am wearing in this picture are by freepeople, and they are the most perfect hoop's I have ever own & only$20. Can't beat it ladies!! My husband and I had the opportunity to have a relaxing and much needed staycation at Hotel Alessandra-a new luxury hotel in Houston, Texas. It is stunning to say the least! My husband and I were always on the go and traveling the world before we had babies. Now, it's hard to do so. I am with my babies 24/7 and I don't enjoy being far from them when we do decide to have a date night, etc. Therefore, a stay-cation is the perfect get away for this mommy & daddy! Right in your home town, you can relax, spend some alone time yet be super close in case your babies need you or vise versa! It seems as if I need them more, LOL. I just love them so much, can't get enough!
Anyways, let's talk about Hotel Alessandra, shall we?! The hotel has a lot to offer. From the moment we arrived, I was impressed. We were greeted with huge smiles by the polite Valet & Hotel Alessandra Team. Hospitality at it's finest! Right when you walk in, the 1st thing you see is a beautiful grand stair case that welcomes you to the reception desk, where you will be able to check in. Also situated on the 2nd floor is Lucienne- Houston's upscale Mediterranean Restaurant and Bardot-a sophisticated bar and lounge. You have all of the fine dining/lounging right in the hotel and that is so convienite! Although, if you decide to venture out into the city there's no need for an Uber! Why?! Because Hotel Alessandra offers their guests to be chauffeured around in a Maserati. Complimentary! How fabulous is that?! Pretty awesome if you ask me!
We spent our day relaxing and pampering ourselves with a couple's massage at Spa by Alessandra and oh was it a phenomenal experience! I highly recommend taking time to rejuvenate yourself every once in a while. You and your partner deserve it!
I am so grateful we were able to experience this luxurious hotel. We are looking forward to spending another one of our staycation's at Hotel Alessandra. We couldn't of expected anything more or have been more pleased with this hotel and their professional team!
