Suede Skirts and Knee High Boots....

Happy Friday, guys or shall I say FRIYAY?! Today is my first fashion blog post and I am so excited about it to say the least! Most of you already know this but I do have a passion for fashion- yes indeed! Today, I am going to share with you a simple yet super chic fall outfit that is just so fashionable and darling- definitely an eye-catching outfit!
When I put this outfit together, the skirt was the 1st thing I pieced the entire outfit around. I mean, seriously... look at the button detail, how in the world could you pass it up? I sure couldn't. Plus, it's not just a basic suede skirt that you generally see around AND that is what I LOVE about it!
Next was the white turtleneck, a must as well, the detail of it is so simple and pretty. (p.s- it is super light. BONUS FOR HOUSTON GIRLS!) Not to mention, it does bring a POP to the outfit and I just love the white, brown, and black combination.
Then we have the shoes and the hat. I love these knee high boots. Yes, they are super basic and everyone owns a pair like these BUT I know why...they are SUPER flattering for your legs! The hat is an adorable addition to any outfit in my opinion and it is black and brown so therefore you can wear it with more outfit combinations...you can't beat that!
Last but not least, the accessories. In my opinion, accessories can alter an outfits entire look! For this specific outfit, I kept mine to a minimum to maintain the classic and simple look. The clutch is one of my favorites for this fall. I am obsessed with anything leopard and this clutch adds pattern to my look, the perfect touch!
I hope you all enjoyed my 1st post about fashion as much as I did sharing it! Let me know what you all think. Have a great weekend! Xoxo.

My Handsome Baby Noah + Nursery Reveal...

Welcome to my baby Noah's nursery, or shall we call him "The King of The Wild"?! Designing this safari-theme nursery for my sweet son was an absolute blast, I enjoyed every second of it. I am a dreamer and a planner, so of course I have known my entire life exactly what I wanted my son's nursery to look like, and it turned out just how I envisioned it - masculine.
When I walk into Noah's room I feel like I am in the safari, it is so realistic. From the Zebra head on the wall to the zebra rug and not to mention one of the main focal points, the mural looking out into the "safari".. it couldn't feel more real and that is exactly the vibe that I wanted to give off in his room. Besides the theme of his room, choosing his crib was the easiest decision, as soon as I saw it- I knew it was the one! This crib is so masculine, you wouldn't have to second guess if it was meant for a boy or a girl, and that's what I loved about it.
As I have previously stated, I am all about correlation and everything flowing together in order to tie a pretty bow, or shall I say bowtie?! I stuck with different shades of grays, browns, creams, and whites throughout his room. Although, I will add that I did put a light baby blue changing pad on top of the changing dresser in order to pop out the sky in his safari mural..it all flows so well.
I was put on this earth to be a mommy! As of 3 months ago, I officially became a boy mom! Although I am quite girly, I will say that being a mommy to a sweet little boy is such a joy and I am loving all things masculine for my little man.

My Sweet Sophia Grace + Room Reveal...

Happy Monday! I wanted to begin this week by sharing Sophia Grace's room with you all. Designing her room was so much fun for me! I have always envisioned exactly how I've wanted my daughter's room to look like my entire life and it turned out just how I have always dreamed it would-feminine, sophisticated, dainty, and classy!
I already had the colors I wanted to use when designing Sophia Grace's room in mind, a soft blush pink with a touch of grey, and white. What a pretty combination, right? I think so! I love to tie everything together in a pretty bow, so everything in the room must go together and detail is everything to me. For instance, the blush pink paint on her walls match the play table chairs, crib bumper, bed skirt, the sham on the glider, and the coverlet hanging off the crib. Then we have the Belgian linen on the sides of the crib, which is the exact same color and fabric as the glider. Not to mention, the aged-white finish on the crib matches the finish on the play table. The pewter finish on the chandelier is the exact same finish as the curtain rod and last but not least, the grey personalization that reads "Sophia" on the sham and coverlet is the identical color to the drapery-which allows a pop! A lot of correlation, right? Yes, I know. As I previously stated, correlation is a must for me.
Walking into this room always puts a smile on my face! Sophia Grace and I are always having tea parties in here and making unforgettable memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. Watching her pour the tea for Mommy while making sound effects just melts my heart!  Motherhood has been such a joy and the happiest time of my life. I cannot believe my baby girl is already 19 months old! Can time please slow down?!
